PROJECT ARCHITECT

We are seeking a JOB CAPTAIN/PROJECT ARCHITECT with 2+ years of professional experience competent in the detailing and technical documentation of project design, coordination of building systems with consultants, and confirmation of conformance with all applicable codes. A “can-do” approach and willingness to learn are a must on our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret design concepts and translate them into workable construction systems; maintain quality technical and design control

  • Develop design and construction documents for projects; preparation and modification of permit and construction drawings ensuring the incorporation of the design intent, utilizing Revit and AutoCAD software

  • Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals

Skills and Competencies:

  • Familiarity with construction materials, methods, standards and codes, including IBC codes and LEED. Design skills are a plus

  • Construction documentation production

  • Revit (including modeling and documentation) and AutoCAD required

  • Ability to effectively meet deadlines, strong organizational skills

  • Work independently or with a team to complete projects on sometimes aggressive schedules

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely; both verbally and in writing

  • 3D modeling and rendering software, such as SketchUp, is a plus

  • Photoshop, Illustrator, Lumien and InDesign graphic software is a plus

Education: Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture from an accredited university

Experience: 2+ years of professional architectural experience
